Good grief, Morgan! At first I thought - wow - someone was at Rum Runners longer than I thought! Do I dare to read? Also, love the photo of you with the wonderful dog (sniffling, I miss my dog--she flew to NY with one of the authors who attended Bouchercon and might not be back except to visit)... we think we're going to be meeting at the Northrim Bank for Alaska Sisters in Crime on Nov. 13th... you can check www.aksinc.org for latest meeting news Monday night or Tuesday -- that's when we'll have the info confirmed. We're kinda chuckling that the bank would let us (strangers) in afterhours and with our group's title. Anyway, if I dare to read your novella (it would be something completely different) I'll probably still be in shock when I see you at the AKSinC meeting!!! Dana Stabenow is getting her Alaska Artist of the Year award tonight from Governor Palin at the Governor's Awards for the Arts and Humanities banquet in Fairbanks. I was going to be there, but Dana wryly pointed out it was a very expensive venture just to get some photos. So got their official photog to promise us photos of Dana getting her award and will have to be satisfied with that. Anyway, hope we'll see you Nov. 13th if not sooner.
