Crime: Miami Versus Chicago

When I moved to Miami a year ago from Chicago, I was a little disheartened, because Chicago had been my muse and my inspiration for so much of my fiction, much of it centered on crime. Phil Rickman is probably my favorite of the lighter horror I've read. When I finally tried a Dean Koontz book, Odd Thomas, I thought it was fantastic for the first couple of chapters.
