I was born in Leeds, UK, in 1976, and I've lived there all my life. Went to Uni and studied Philosophy there, and then spent the usual unfulfilling years temping around doing boring jobs for small amounts of money while concentrating on my writing. I'm now lucky enough to be a full-time author, which makes me very happy. When not doing that, I can be found at the pub, the gym, pottering about on the internet, or lodged in front of a DVD or my PS3. I'm married. No kids. Two cats.

I forgot to tell you... My boyfirend read the book (a long time ago). He loved it. And he figured it all out (who and where the killer is), so the ending wasn't such a big surprise to him, but there were other surprising elements.... the same thing that struck me most, struck him as well. And just like I told you, he immediately asked for other titles of yours :)
Hey Steve,
I did indeed love the book.
The sleeping thing is kind of hit and miss here anyway, so having a reason for not sleeping is refreshing.
I wrote a nice review for ithe book for the next Crimespree.
Drop me I line and lets see if we can do anything else to help you sell some books.
You Bastard.
I have two bones to pick with you.
First: I'm a busy guy, things to do , magazine to get out, dvds to watch. I picked up your book even though I was done reviewing for this next issue. Well, I read it straight through, got nothing else done and little sleep. So if issue 18 is late I blame you.
Second, my sleep the last few nights has been a bit, shall we say, disturbed. And I know for a fact it's because I read the 50/50 Killer. My dreams are screwed up, I roll around, the cats are mad, and I wake up my wife.
On the plus side the book was freaking great. Nice job.
More please
Ah, Leeds. Saw the location and had to say hello. I used to spend quite a bit of time there before I quit the corporate life for the writing life. And now, after saying this, I wonder why the hell you'd even care. Oh, well. Don't mean to bother, but I'll raise my glass to you nonetheless.
